Must:
- Strong background as a Network Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Communications Engineer
- Experience working within MOD or defence environments
- Cisco networking experience (CCNA or equivalent knowledge desirable)
- Experience working on secure platforms or deployable CIS environments
- MAB experience highly desirable
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Current DV Clearance
- Sole UK National
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for deployable communications and CIS capability
- Perform systems and network integration within secure defence environments
- Support platform builds, configuration, and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across networking and infrastructure layers
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, programme, and operational teams
Description
We are supporting a defence programme delivering capability at the front edge of a deployable communications platform. We are looking for an experienced Network / Systems Engineer to join our engineering team on a contract basis. This role involves regular travel to secure MOD sites across the South West and Midlands, requiring flexibility. Joining our high-profile defence capability programme will offer you a unique opportunity to work at the leading edge of deployable communications technology.
