Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer, Network SME, Infrastructure Engineer, or Data Centre Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience delivering network refresh, migration, or upgrade projects
- On-site deployments and installations expertise
- Technical expertise in structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, copper, patch panels, termination)
- Experience with switch installation and configuration (Juniper preferred; Cisco also relevant)
- Familiarity with data centre environments, server rooms, and enterprise infrastructure
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of technical delivery
- Clear communication skills with stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Deliver a full data centre network refresh, upgrade, and migration
- Perform network decommissioning of legacy infrastructure
- Install, rack, and configure network switches (Juniper/enterprise switching)
- Carry out structured cabling installation (Cat6, copper, patching, termination)
- Support network deployment, implementation, and infrastructure roll-out
- Ensure project delivery aligns with Statement of Work (SOW) and project scope
- Work independently as a standalone engineer, field engineer, or deployment engineer
- Provide clear updates to stakeholders and project contacts
