Requirements
Must:
- Strong background as a Network Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Communications Engineer
- Experience working within MOD or defence environments
- Cisco networking experience (CCNA or equivalent knowledge desirable)
- Experience working on secure platforms or deployable CIS environments
- MAB experience highly desirable
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Current DV Clearance
- Sole UK National
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for deployable communications and CIS capability
- Perform systems and network integration within secure defence environments
- Support platform builds, configuration, and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across networking and infrastructure layers
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, programme, and operational teams
Description
We are supporting a high-profile defence programme that delivers capability at the forefront of deployable communications technology. Our engineering team is seeking an experienced Network / Systems Engineer to join us on a contract basis, with a competitive rate of £500 per day (Inside IR35). This role offers the opportunity to work closely with technical teams, programme stakeholders, and operational users, while travelling to secure MOD sites across the South West and Midlands 2-3 days per week. Flexibility in travel is essential.
