Requirements
Must:
We seek a Microsoft Defender Subject Matter Expert (SME) with expertise in the Microsoft Defender suite and Microsoft 365 security. You should possess strong knowledge of Intune, Conditional Access, and Azure security, along with experience in enterprise-scale security deployments. Additionally, the ability to interpret and improve Secure Score metrics is essential.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with FastTrack methodology and experience with Microsoft Sentinel and advanced threat analytics. Strong communication and advisory skills for customer engagement are also valuable.
Responsibilities
As our Microsoft Defender SME, you will lead advanced security deployments across endpoints, email, identity, and cloud. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deploying and configuring Microsoft Defender solutions, including Defender for Endpoint (EDR), Defender for Office 365 (Safe Links, Safe Attachments), Defender for Identity (AD attack detection), and Defender for Cloud (CSPM & workload protection).
- Integrating security solutions with Intune, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Applying Microsoft Security Baselines and ASR rules.
- Monitoring and improving our Secure Score posture.
- Providing guidance on automated investigation and threat hunting.
