Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates with knowledge and demonstrable, proven recent experience in the following technologies:
- IBM z-series mainframe (PL1, SYNCSORT, DB2, IMS DB, MVS JCL, TSO, JobTrac, ENDEVOR, File Manager).
I expect prior experience in projects or programs that demonstrate a strong ability to interrogate mainframe applications built with these technologies to support data mapping (e.g., Source to Target data fields). You should also have prior experience developing a codebase in these technologies for data extraction based on agreed specifications. Experience in large-scale migration programs and a background in Life/Protection roles will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
As a Mainframe Developer, you will be responsible for working with a variety of technologies to support data mapping and codebase development. You will need to analyze existing applications and assist in the extraction of data followed by its migration as per project requirements. This role involves collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Description
This is a 6-month contract position based in Lytham, requiring you to be onsite one day a week or once every two weeks. Please note that this role is outside IR35.
