Requirements
Must:
- Active DV Clearance required
- Sole British national due to program sensitivity
- Proficient in Linux operating systems (Red Hat preferred)
- Experience with system provisioning in virtual environments
- Knowledge of OS upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
- Familiarity with security hardening to CIS and NIST standards
- Experience using security scanning tools and threat remediation
- Skills in deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of vendor monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills across OS and IP networking environments
- Ability to produce High and Low Level Design documentation and build guides
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and integrate Linux operating systems
- Provision new systems within virtual environments
- Manage OS upgrades, patching, and lifecycle via Satellite Server
- Implement security hardening
- Utilize security scanning tools and carry out threat remediation
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot vendor monitoring tools
- Integrate systems with container platforms, Active Directory, security tooling, and backup solutions
- Build and deploy network and infrastructure monitoring tools
- Deliver against the project technical roadmap
- Perform Linux server builds and application deployment in on-site infrastructure
Description
We are a team committed to delivering secure operating system and application capabilities within a controlled virtual infrastructure for a government programme. This is a 6-month contract role based in London, with the expectation of 2-3 days onsite per week. We offer competitive compensation of up to £600 per day. Our environment places emphasis on high assurance and integrity, making this an exciting opportunity for professionals holding DV Clearance.
