Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience as a Lead Data Engineer or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of data architectures, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes. - Experience in building and maintaining data systems that ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security. - Proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions that manage large data volumes and adhere to security measures. - Familiarity with processing and analysis algorithms suitable for varying data complexities and volumes. - Experience collaborating with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models. - Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to contribute to strategy and provide recommendations for improvements. - Leadership skills, if applicable, to define jobs and responsibilities and manage team performance. - Ability to demonstrate clear leadership behaviors, fostering an environment for colleagues to thrive. - Capable of training, guiding, and coaching less experienced specialists.

We invite you to join us as our Lead Data Engineer, focusing on building pipelines for accounts and real-time event streaming. In this role, you will oversee a team, setting standards, reviewing code, and guiding your colleagues in their work. We expect you to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of our organizational functions, and to create trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise will drive the success of our projects, allowing us to achieve key business objectives effectively. This position requires a flexible work setup, with 2-3 days spent onsite, and offers a daily rate of £400, processed through PAYE via Umbrella.
