In this role, you will perform software installations and configurations within our existing IT infrastructure. You will work with Microsoft desktop operating systems and our bespoke in-house systems, with training provided. Following detailed scripts for system builds is critical, so accuracy is key. Handling data input, which constitutes 25-50% of the role, requires a keen eye for detail. You will also consolidate consignments for distribution and manage pallet movements, box and unbox IT equipment, and contribute to overall work planning. Effective communication with supervisors and team leads will help us meet our service level agreements and targets.
Description
We are seeking a Technical Operative to join our Configuration Department. This position offers a competitive rate of £18.50 per hour under an umbrella contract, with a 6-month rolling agreement. You will work Monday to Friday, starting from 8 am to 4 pm, transitioning to 4 pm to 12 am.
