Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an experienced Hadoop SQL Developer who possesses the following key skills:
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, Spark, Hadoop, and Big Data technologies. Familiarity with .NET, Angular, and UI skills is a plus.
- Strong reporting skills using tools like Tableau and QlikView BI.
- Solid SQL skills, with the ability to work on Stored Procedures in SQL Server and experience with SSIS packages.
- A good understanding of MS SQL and the ability to perform advanced database functions, including querying databases and creating functions/procedures.
- Familiarity with code review processes and the ability to make changes as required using Git.
Responsibilities
As a Hadoop SQL Developer, you will be joining a financial services giant on an initial 6-month contract. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining data solutions using Hadoop and SQL technologies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our data reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Performing code reviews and ensuring best practices in code development and version control.
