Requirements
Must:
- Willingness to learn multiple programming languages
- Demonstratable experience of one programming language (preferably Kotlin, Java, or JavaScript)
- Working knowledge of Unix
- Understanding of databases from a consumer point of view
- Knowledge of HTTP APIs, e.g., RESTful APIs
Responsibilities
- Participate in all parts of the development life cycle including analysis, testing, and production support
- Work collaboratively within a team of 4-6 people
- Take business requirements, divide them into stories, and deliver each story iteratively to production
- Provide product support as integral to the role
- Identify areas of technical debt and prioritize accordingly
- Design solutions for new items while adhering to technology guidelines and constraints
- Pair programming with other team members
Description
We are a dynamic company based in Sheffield, offering a hybrid work environment. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be part of a collaborative team where product support is a pivotal aspect of the role. This is a contract position set to run until 30/11/2026, with compensation of up to £418.60 per day, umbrella inside IR35.
