Requirements
Must:
- UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is essential
- Experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio of front-end applications
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and front-end build tools like Webpack or Gulp
- Ability to collaborate with UI/UX designers and translate designs into working interfaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality code
- Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a desire to stay updated on evolving front-end technologies
Responsibilities
- Build responsive, high-quality web applications and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Translate design mock-ups and wireframes into accessible, functional front-end features
- Collaborate with back-end teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs and data services
- Test, debug, and maintain code to ensure usability across devices and browsers
- Stay current with front-end development tools, trends, and frameworks
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement within the team
- Support the adoption of new digital capabilities across Defence environments
- Work in a fast-paced, agile team to solve real-world user challenges
