Requirements
Must:
- A clear understanding of Fin Ops principles and how they apply to engineering responsibilities.
- Experience in partnering with engineering, finance, and product teams to drive cost-efficiency across Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Azure Billing and Cost Management.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing automation to enhance cost optimization.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Git, Terraform, and Harness.
- Knowledge of Agile working practices, as well as experience with tools like Jira and Confluence.
Responsibilities
- Enable teams to build cost-effective solutions on Microsoft Azure while maintaining agility and fostering innovation.
- Contribute to cost visibility by utilizing cost and usage data to facilitate self-service reporting.
- Drive sustainable usage practices, such as terminating idle resources and implementing autoscaling.
- Translate technical decisions into cost impacts and surface trade-offs to customers.
- Work collaboratively across teams to embed cost-awareness into design, development, deployment, and monitoring practices.
