Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust test plans for software, APIs, and hardware.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define testing scope and objectives.
- Establish scalable testing methodologies for comprehensive coverage.
- Execute manual functional tests to validate expected behavior.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure compatibility across devices, operating systems, and browsers.
- Manually test APIs for functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Validate data flow and integrity across integrated systems.
- Use tools like Postman or SoapUI to support testing efforts.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across databases and sources.
- Perform reconciliation and validation tasks, collaborating with engineers to resolve data-related issues.
- Test applications on mobile, tablet, and IoT devices, identifying and troubleshooting hardware-software integration issues to guarantee a seamless user experience across platforms.
- Log and track defects with detailed documentation, working closely with development teams to ensure timely fixes and conducting regression testing to confirm resolution.
- Act as a bridge between development, product, and implementation teams, providing clear updates on testing progress and risks.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical decisions.
Description
We are an expanding software development-focused organization that has already hired 8 technical resources into our Ops teams this year. We are seeking a meticulous and driven End-to-End Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the flawless performance of our software applications, APIs, and hardware integrations through rigorous manual testing. You will work across the full product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user experience. The position is based in London with a hybrid work arrangement and offers a full-time employment opportunity with a salary range of £50,000 to £55,000 plus benefits, depending on experience.
