Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to facilitate discussions and conflict resolution
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure the team follows Agile practices and principles, and coach the team to higher levels of maturity
- Remove impediments and protect the team from external distractions
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage the product backlog and ensure it is well-groomed and prioritized
- Use JIRA and Confluence to track and report on project progress, and ensure transparency within the team and with stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Identify and address any issues or risks that may impact project delivery
- Continuously seek ways to improve team performance and productivity
Description
We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager/Scrum Master to join our team in Telford on a 6-month contract. Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, and experience using JIRA and Confluence to manage project progress. We offer a hybrid work environment, with 2 days per week onsite, and the competitive rate of up to £506 p/d Umbrella inside IR35.
