Must:
We are looking for individuals with at least 5 years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or Applied Analytics role. You should have a proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data to deliver clear insights and strategic recommendations. Exceptional attention to detail, a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Advanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling are required. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx, KNIME, or Tableau Prep, as well as intermediate to advanced proficiency in data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or Domo.
Responsibilities
In your role as a Business Intelligence Data Analyst, you will enable and support data-driven decision-making across sales operations to enhance productivity and revenue growth. You will conduct advanced analyses of complex datasets spanning sales, operations, marketing, and planning. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing reports and dashboards to track performance, identify trends, and uncover growth opportunities. Collaboration with global and regional teams will be crucial to ensure business continuity and alignment across functions. You will also work with data engineering and IT teams to integrate, clean, and optimize data pipelines and analytical tools. Partnering with internal Business Intelligence groups, you will help to evolve our analytics capabilities specifically within the virtual sales ecosystem, translating business questions into analytical problems and providing data-backed recommendations.

Your work will directly influence how we execute our Sales Go-to-Market strategy and shape the future of virtual selling at Cisco. Experience in sales operations or go-to-market strategy analytics, knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce, familiarity with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis, and working in a large-scale enterprise environment with cross-functional global teams will be considered advantageous.
