Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in Microsoft Products: I seek individuals with a deep understanding of Skype for Business, Exchange, and SharePoint architecture, features, and functionality across multiple versions.
- Microsoft Technologies: Experience with related technologies like Exchange, SharePoint, and Office 365 is essential.
- Networking: A solid knowledge of networking concepts and protocols relevant to Microsoft products such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP is required.
- PowerShell Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management is a must.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: I value strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Security and Compliance: An understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements is crucial.
Responsibilities
As a Microsoft Support Engineer, I expect you to:
- Implement and deploy Microsoft servers, clients, and related infrastructure, including installing, configuring, and deploying within on-premises environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents by investigating, diagnosing, and addressing complex technical issues across various Microsoft products such as Skype, Exchange, and SharePoint.
- Support the deployment of security measures to protect the Microsoft product environment and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Create and maintain documentation for the Microsoft environment and provide knowledge transfer to other support staff.
- Collaborate with other members of the support team, resolver groups, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support for all Microsoft products, including Skype services.
Description

This position is located in Corsham and is available until 31/03/2026, with a rate of up to £750 per day via an approved umbrella company.
