Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing Azure security architectures
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust principles and secure build standards
- Proficiency in defining secure configuration standards for Azure resources
- Experience in resilient enterprise environment design and cyber resilience architecture
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, NCSC CAF, ISO27035
- Knowledge of backup/restore architectures, cyber vaults, and ransomware containment strategies
- Experience with cloud-native resilience strategies (availability zones, DR strategy, service failover)
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead assurance activities and evaluate technical resilience controls
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Azure security architecture aligned to Zero Trust principles
- Define secure configuration standards for Azure resources, including network, compute, storage, and identity
- Produce overarching cyber resilience architecture patterns across multiple layers
- Design resilience controls such as isolation zones and immutable backups
- Lead assurance activities to evaluate technical resilience controls
- Define and validate compliance to regulatory and organisational standards
- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to enhance recovery capabilities
- Undertake resilience risk assessments and support mitigation strategies
- Provide architectural governance on changes to ensure resilience requirements are met
