Cryptography Analyst

In this role, I will require you to undertake various team activities aligned with our client’s broader strategy, Crypto strategy, and departmental goals. You will ensure the integrity and availability of cryptographic and key management services to support different business functions and applications. Your tasks will include maintaining accurate environment documentation, process, and device categorization, and providing continuous assurance that risk and compliance requirements are met and evidenced satisfactorily. You will be responsible for the generation of key components across various platforms (including IBM, Tandem, and Unix) along with managing the cryptographic infrastructure, SSH key management, and certificate management. Your role will also involve HSM configuration, installation, and support, as well as incident and change management within an ITIL framework. I expect you to manage cryptographic hardware on-site, support resource allocation, scheduling, and distribution of work requests related to HSM and key management, and work closely with service management to ensure smooth continuity of services and operations while delivering according to required SLAs. Furthermore, you will gather, distribute, store, recover, and delete cryptographic keys in accordance with defined procedures to meet service, risk, and governance requirements across various global locations. You will be tasked with managing the cryptographic infrastructure, which includes providing out-of-hours support, producing monthly management information and risk statements, adhering to Group IT Security Standards, and overseeing problem, incident, and change management processes. Maintaining excellent risk and control measures, developing procedures, and contributing to project delivery will also be part of your responsibilities. Lastly, you will need to ensure governance and maintain clear records of all activities undertaken to support accurate audit trails required for attestation and audit support, while also proactively seeking ways to improve operations and enhance customer experience.
