- I seek deep expertise in enterprise integration and hybrid architecture, including IBM i-series (AS/400) and distributed retail/wholesale operations.
- A strong knowledge of modern paradigms, such as domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, microservices, and API-first approaches, is essential.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is required.
- I appreciate exceptional communication and influencing skills, enabling credible engagement with C-level executives, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
- Strong leadership capabilities, particularly in guiding teams through large-scale change, are a must.

Responsibilities
- I will define and lead the enterprise architecture strategy to facilitate the shift from stack-centric IT to a product-led, outcome-driven model.
- I will establish a clear architectural vision aligned with business objectives, customer experience goals, and operational scalability.
- I will design and govern integration patterns across modern cloud platforms, distributed retail/wholesale sites, and IBM i-series (AS/400) systems.
- I will drive legacy modernization by exposing core enterprise capabilities (pricing, inventory, fulfillment) through APIs and event-driven interfaces.
- I will act as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders, shaping product strategy through architecture.
- I will align multiple teams and stakeholders across business units to ensure consistency while enabling innovation.
- I will define and embed architecture principles, standards, and guardrails to support autonomous product teams.
- I will lead initiatives to transition delivery teams from project-based, technology stack–focused approaches to product-aligned operating models.
- I will develop scalable architectural patterns and platforms that accelerate delivery, reduce technical friction, and support evolving business needs.
- I will ensure that non-functional requirements—security, observability, resilience, and performance—are integral to product and platform design.
- I will oversee architectural governance that facilitates delivery rather than constrains it.
- I will mentor solution architects and senior engineers, raising organizational architectural maturity.
- I will play a key role in architecture forums, communities of practice, and design reviews.

- It would be nice to have experience in retail/wholesale technology transformation, including ERP, POS, and logistics integration. - Familiarity with event streaming platforms, middleware, and API management solutions would be beneficial. - Exposure to platform engineering, DevOps, or data architecture is a plus. - I value experience in building and leading architecture practices or centers of excellence.
