Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5 years of UK residency and the ability to pass BPSS and OPSEC checks.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the design, maintenance, and management of Elastic stacks (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Proven experience configuring and maintaining large Elastic clusters.
- Familiarity with handling large data sets and best practices for elastic indexing.
- A strong understanding of visualization components and techniques in Elasticsearch.
- Demonstrated experience in performance management and tuning of Elasticsearch environments.
- Solid experience in writing data ingestion pipelines using Logstash and other big data technologies.
Responsibilities
- As an ELK (Elastic Logstash & Kibana) Subject Matter Expert, you will extend the role of a Cloud Engineer to include specialized expertise in the ELK stack.
- You will design and maintain Elastic stacks, ensuring efficient indexing and optimal performance.
- Your responsibilities will include configuring and managing large Elastic clusters, implementing best practices, and developing data ingestion pipelines.
- Additionally, you will focus on performance tuning and visualizing data in Elasticsearch to provide impactful insights.
