Must:
- Strong expertise in Azure architecture and cloud governance
- Experience with Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Proven ability to assess and redesign existing cloud estates
- Familiarity with Power Platform and virtual firewalls
- Strong architectural assessment and blueprinting skills
- Ability to create a roadmap for implementation
- Excellent collaboration skills with internal teams such as developers and data engineers
- Experience in identifying security gaps and ensuring compliance with best practices
Responsibilities
- Review and refine the existing cloud estate
- Assess and redesign Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Structure permissions correctly and identify security gaps
- Ensure governance consistency across development, test, and production environments
- Validate previous architectural decisions and highlight areas for improvement
- Implement a cleaner and more secure RBAC model based on grouped permissions
- Work closely with the internal cloud owner, lead developer, and lead data engineer
- Create architectural blueprints and roadmaps for implementation

At Experis, we are supporting a key client in Edinburgh with a one-off project requiring an experienced Azure Architect for 3-6 months, with three days on-site each week.
