Requirements
Must:
- Strong, hands-on data discovery experience in complex organizations.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Purview (data classification, governance, lineage, etc.).
- Background in Data Security / Information Security / Cyber Security projects.
- Ability to work autonomously in a small, focused project team.
- Experience delivering within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable experience mapping processes and data flows end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical findings into business-friendly insights.
- Knowledge of DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and AIP (Azure Information Protection).
- Experience supporting or preparing for data migration programs.
- Understanding of cloud-based collaboration platforms (OneDrive, SharePoint).
Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end data discovery activities across multiple business domains.
- Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to understand data flows, storage locations, and security requirements.
- Map current-state processes and data journeys, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the migration and standardization of data across systems and platforms.
- Provide clear documentation, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Work at pace within a small project team, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are high quality.
