Requirements
Must:
- I hold a 1st or 2.1 degree in computer science or a similarly applicable subject.
- I possess demonstrably strong coding skills in C# and .NET Core (C++ or Java may suffice if I have an excellent software engineering background).
- I have substantial experience in professional software development, utilizing current industry best practices and tools such as bug tracking and version control systems. Practical knowledge of Agile, eXtreme Programming, and Test-Driven Development would be beneficial.
- I am able to attend the Cambridge office at short notice when necessary, despite the flexible hybrid working options.
- I have existing unrestricted UK work permission.
Responsibilities
I will create C# tools as part of an eXtreme Programming development team. I will contribute to the full-stack development of a web-based application that serves some of our largest clients. My responsibilities will include developing new features and functionality and being involved throughout the software development lifecycle. I will work collaboratively within small, friendly teams composed of specialists in software engineering, product management, and testing.
