Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in Linux, specifically as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Experience with RedHat and VMware environments
- Skills in patching and vulnerability management
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Git
Responsibilities
- Support our client in making changes to their existing Linux Platform to enhance security
- Collaborate with internal teams to up-skill engineers on Linux Platforms
- Develop strategies for patch management and maintaining server security
- Initially work onsite for the first week or two to familiarize with systems and the team, then shift to onsite work once a week thereafter
Description
We are looking for a seasoned Linux Engineer for a 6-month contract based in Manchester, outside IR35, with a rate of £400 a day. If you're not local, you will need to arrange your own travel and accommodation as required.
