We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience engineering data pipelines and exploiting capabilities to meet end user needs.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- A background in delivering change and innovation initiatives.
- Strong skills in communicating analysis and insights to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- (Desirable) Familiarity with the Azure enterprise stack, including Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Python, SQL, and Power BI tools.
Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at DWP, you will be part of our Health Services team, focusing on the transformation of essential services such as Personal Independence Payments and the Health Assessment Service. In this role, you will utilize cutting-edge cloud technologies built in the Azure Enterprise stack to:
- Transform and visualize data.
- Create data solutions.
- Pave the way for machine learning innovations within DWP.
Ultimately, your work will help us build better, more efficient services that can be easily accessed by some of our most vulnerable users. We want you to apply your skills to help us achieve this goal.
