We are looking for a candidate who has a strong understanding of ASC 606/IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles and possesses over 5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Revenue Management, Receivables, and Intercompany modules. Knowledge of AutoInvoice, Payment Processing, and Collections functionality is essential, along with proficiency in SQL and data analysis for troubleshooting financial issues. Experience with FBDI/ADFdi for data imports and updates is required, as is an understanding of period close processes for revenue and receivables. Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements for revenue processes, as well as experience troubleshooting integrations between financial modules, is necessary. We value strong problem-solving skills for complex accounting issues and the ability to document technical solutions effectively while supporting end-users.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will be responsible for providing comprehensive production support for Oracle Revenue Management, Receivables, and Intercompany processes. My key responsibilities include: - Supporting ASC 606/IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles, troubleshooting and maintaining revenue contracts, performance obligations, and standalone selling price calculations. - Resolving issues related to revenue deferrals, allocations, and adjustments, while ensuring compliance through multi-currency and multi-GAAP reporting. - Assisting with deferred revenue and unbilled revenue accruals processing. - Analyzing and prioritizing support tickets, providing timely solutions, and documenting resolution steps and knowledge base articles. - Monitoring system performance and recommending improvements, as well as supporting system upgrades and patches. - Troubleshooting customer invoicing, credit memos, adjustments, and ensuring accurate tax calculations on AR transactions. - Maintaining intercompany revenue recognition rules, supporting intercompany invoicing, and troubleshooting balancing rules for financial reporting. - Reconciling AR subledger with the general ledger and supporting period-end revenue recognition and receivables close processes. - Writing and debugging SQL queries, troubleshooting AutoInvoice errors, and supporting integrations with other financial systems. - Supporting compliance, audit, and reporting needs, preparing various reports, and assisting with SOX audits. - Creating and managing service requests for revenue-related issues and validating changes before deployment.

This position requires a unique blend of revenue recognition expertise and technical troubleshooting skills to maintain critical financial systems and ensure compliance with accounting standards. As a part of my team, I will work with various stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and tax teams, to resolve queries related to revenue, intercompany, and accounts receivable. I will also be responsible for validating testing for quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, documenting standard operating procedures, and optimizing transaction processing for high-volume intercompany environments.
