Requirements

Must:
- A strong background in Azure Data Pipeline development. - Proficient in building and managing pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, CI/CD, and Terraform. - Experience in optimizing ETL processes for performance and cost-efficiency. - Solid understanding of designing scalable data models aligned with business needs. - Knowledge of Azure data solutions for efficient data storage and retrieval. - Familiarity with compliance regarding data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and implementing encryption and access controls. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers. - Skills in managing and tuning Azure SQL Database instances. - Proactive monitoring of pipelines and infrastructure for performance and reliability. - Competence in maintaining technical documentation and leading knowledge-sharing initiatives. - Experience deploying advanced analytics and machine learning solutions using Azure. - Up-to-date knowledge of Azure technologies and identifying areas for enhancement. - Proficient in Databricks (Unity Catalog, DLT), Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Stream Analytics, and Event Hubs. - Strong knowledge of Python, Scala, C#, .NET. - Experience with advanced SQL, T-SQL, and relational databases. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Terraform, BICEP, and ARM templates. - Knowledge of distributed computing, cloud-native design patterns, data modeling, metadata management, data quality, and data as a product. - Strong communication skills, empathy, determination, and openness to innovation. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
