Requirements
Must:
- I have a senior-level experience (7 years) in software engineering roles.
- I possess extensive experience with Python development.
- I have proven experience contributing to mobile app development projects.
- I have strong commercial experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- I possess in-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation.
- Proficiency in C#/.NET development is desirable.
- I have experience or a keen interest in AI technologies and their application in software development.
- I exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to technical challenges.
- I have excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- I have experience working in fast-paced, agile FinTech or start-up environments.
- I hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- I am comfortable working in a hybrid model: 2-3 days onsite in Central London.
Responsibilities
- I will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Python.
- I will contribute to mobile app development, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
- I will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and secure deployments.
- I will develop solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
- I will support and contribute to systems developed in C#/.NET where applicable.
- I will incorporate AI technologies and tools where applicable to enhance functionality and efficiency.
- I will promote engineering best practices, code quality, and automated testing.
- I will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- I will collaborate with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic tech team as we prepare to launch a brand-new mobile app in September 2025. You will spearhead Python development, becoming the first permanent Python specialist within our business while working alongside a collaborative team of Developers, Data Engineers, and Technology Experts. What we offer includes a base salary of up to £110,000, a 20% annual bonus, and a hybrid working model (2-3 days onsite in Central London, remainder remote).
