Requirements
Must:
- I am seeking candidates with expertise in C# .Net Core backend development, with experience in developing highly available, scalable systems.
- A deep knowledge of Azure cloud-based services is essential.
- I prefer applicants who possess a strong understanding of SaaS and cloud deployment.
- A good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform or Pulumi, is important.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker at scale, along with a solid understanding of modern microservices, is required.
- Experience in leading technical projects and promoting best practices is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Responsibilities
- As a Lead Software Engineer, I will expect you to take on a leading role in the team responsible for our flagship SaaS insurance platform, which handles 4 billion requests per month.
- You will focus on delivering the evolution of backend services that support large-scale calculation systems.
- While remaining hands-on, you will help set standards and provide technical project leadership within an Agile development environment that encourages close collaboration.
- You will be involved in team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings at our Reigate office twice a week as part of our flexible work-from-home hybrid model.
