Requirements
Must:
- I have experience and strong knowledge of support and configuration of complex multitier software systems involving messaging technologies (e.g. IBM MQ).
- I possess strong SQL and T-SQL knowledge, including query writing and stored procedures.
- I have experience with configuration and management of Windows and Linux servers.
- I have a good understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and GitHub Actions, along with DevOps principles.
- I am collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- As the Environments Team Lead, I will create, configure, and maintain client-critical environments outside of production, specifically UAT and other test environments for the company’s clients.
- I will lead in planning and executing a complex schedule of maintenance and system upgrade tasks required to keep multiple client-critical environments up-to-date, secure, and functioning.
- I will ensure that the Environments team covers necessary out-of-hours activities for support of multiple client-critical systems for a global client base.
- I will provide coaching and mentoring to a small team, passing on knowledge and developing the team's capabilities.
