Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a Data Engineer in financial services or consulting environments
- Expertise with AWS, including Lake formation and transformation layers
- Strong Python coding skills
- Experience with real-time data streaming using Kafka
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Collaborative and pragmatic approach
- Ability to take ownership of projects and work end-to-end
- Good knowledge of Distributed Systems and DevOps tooling
- Ideally, experience with Databricks
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end real-time data pipelines using AWS native tools and Kafka
- Collaborate directly with clients to analyze requirements and define solutions
- Deliver production-grade systems and lead the development of robust data engineering solutions
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Principles to ensure scalability, security, and resilience
- Ensure systems are well tested and fault-tolerant
