Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in building and supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, with knowledge of and experience using native AWS features.
- Excellent Linux experience.
- Experience in server/network administration is desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of scripting languages such as Powershell or Python.
- Agile experience would be great, as would knowledge of DevSecOps or DevOps.
- AWS Certification is desirable (we can provide training for these).
- Experience with CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform, and Splunk/CloudWatch would be a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Develop AWS-hosted solutions for our global organization.
- Work closely with the engineering team and wider support teams.
- Perform independently, debug issues, and comprehend networking, security groups, and SRE topics.
- Provide technical support around the daily operation, maintenance, and security of production and non-production environments.
- Deploy solutions on the AWS platform and solve problems.
- Advise and support the engineering team as part of a DevSecOps culture to ensure operational excellence.
- Create and support CI/CD pipelines.
Description
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with excellent Linux and AWS experience who can play a key role in our transformation projects as we shift towards AWS hosting. Ideally, you will have around 3 years of relevant experience and possess strong skills in both Linux and Windows OS environments. You will be involved in migration projects and helping capture and utilize cloud-native technology while expanding our AWS cloud capabilities. Training opportunities in AWS certifications will be available. We offer a starting salary of up to £68,000 and encourage you to join our team to contribute to our ongoing success.
