Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in network engineering and proven routing & switching experience. You should have expertise in Cisco Voice, Cisco Call Manager, and Meraki (or similar wireless technologies such as Aruba). Hands-on knowledge of SD-WAN installation, support, and optimization is essential, along with experience working with MPLS in commercial environments. You must also possess excellent troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities, and be comfortable managing vendors, service delivery, and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will lead the delivery of network infrastructure projects that align with our business strategy. You will manage and troubleshoot day-to-day network operations, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and MPLS. Supporting Cisco Voice Platforms, Cisco Call Manager, and Meraki SD-WAN/SASE solutions will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will maintain strong relationships with service providers, MSPs, and internal stakeholders. Evaluating telecoms/network technologies to identify cost savings and improvements will also be part of your responsibilities. You will produce clear network documentation and contribute to service improvement plans.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Southampton, where you will be expected to work onsite 3 days per week. We offer a competitive salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience.
