Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as an RPG Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in RPG IV programming language and related tools.
- Familiarity with IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform and associated technologies.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.
- Problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with ERP and EDI based applications is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using IBM RPG programming language.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Write efficient and clean code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Document code, processes, and specifications for future reference.
