Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with Azure data engineering tools
- Proven track record of building ETL or ELT pipelines in production environments
- Solid SQL and data transformation skills
- Experience handling large and complex datasets
- Ability to work closely with analysts and business stakeholders
- Experience with ERP or finance data (highly beneficial)
- Background in transformation or migration programmes (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines within Azure
- Deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions
- Develop workflows in Databricks and/or Synapse
- Transform data from sources like CSV and Excel into clean datasets
- Translate complex pricing and margin logic into scalable data models
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting
- Improve data quality and validation processes
- Support the transition away from legacy reporting tools
- Contribute to the design of scalable data architecture for multiple business units
Description
We are a major UK-based organisation operating across a portfolio of well-known brands. Our focus is on modernising reporting and building a transparent and reliable data landscape, essential for supporting future growth. You will join a team dedicated to creating a repeatable blueprint in a collaborative environment, helping to transition from legacy systems to a clean, future-ready data platform. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in West Yorkshire with hybrid working options, and there is potential for extension or a permanent role.
