Requirements

Must:
To be successful as a Core UI Platform Developer on our team, you should have strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and either Angular or React. You need good experience in developing scalable, data-intensive applications using grid components like ag-grid. Strong CSS/SASS skills for custom design implementation are essential, along with a good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices (including Git, Unit/Automating Testing, JIRA, etc.). Additional highly valued skills include familiarity with OpenFin/FDC3 platforms or micro-frontend architectures, a positive attitude with a willingness to learn about finance, and experience with charting libraries/components, particularly D3.js. We may assess candidates on key critical skills relevant to success in this role, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital technology, and job-specific technical skills.

Responsibilities

In this role, your purpose will be to design, develop, and improve software utilizing various engineering methodologies that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Your accountabilities will include the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. You will ensure that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. Collaboration is key—you will work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives. You will participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. Staying informed of industry technology trends and innovations, you will actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. Adherence to secure coding practices, implementation of effective unit testing, and managing risks related to software development are also vital parts of your responsibilities.

Description

As an Assistant Vice President, we expect you to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions, leading a team in performing complex tasks using well-developed professional knowledge and skills. Setting objectives, coaching employees, and appraising performance relative to these objectives will be part of your role. If you are an individual contributor, you will lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through structured projects, identifying needed specializations to meet project goals. You will also identify new directions for assignments or projects, consulting on complex issues and providing advice to people leaders to support the resolution of escalated matters. All colleagues will be expected to demonstrate our values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, acting as our moral compass. Additionally, you will embody our mindset to Empower, Challenge, and Drive in everything you do. We look forward to welcoming dedicated and innovative individuals to our team!
