To be successful as a CyberArk IAM Engineer, I need someone with a strong understanding of the CyberArk application, both operationally and in implementation. A solid grasp of Plugin and PSM Connector development to manage passwords across different applications is essential. Additionally, I require a strong background in Information Security principles and controls. Other valuable skills include a focus on driving the successful delivery and implementation of key enterprise initiatives related to Privileged Identity and Access Management technologies. Decision-making skills are crucial, as you will need to handle major incidents and outages effectively, managing communications with impacted stakeholders and providing a rationale for decisions. A good understanding of controls is also important. You may be assessed on critical skills relevant to success in this role, encompassing risk and controls, strategic thinking in digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to develop, implement, and maintain solutions that protect the bank's systems and sensitive information. Your accountabilities will include providing subject matter expertise on security systems and engineering patterns, developing and implementing protocols, algorithms, and software applications to safeguard sensitive data and systems, and managing and protecting secrets to ensure their secure generation, storage, and usage. You will execute audits to monitor and assess vulnerabilities in the bank's infrastructure and software and support responses to potential security breaches. Identifying advancements in cryptographic technologies and collaborating with developers and security teams to align cryptographic solutions with business objectives, security policies, and regulatory requirements are also key aspects of this role. Furthermore, you will work on developing, implementing, and maintaining Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.
