Requirements
Must:
- I should be technically proficient in computing fundamentals, including networks & protocols, operating systems, programming & scripting.
- I need to have a solid foundation in information security, covering vulnerabilities, cryptography, network defense, and digital forensics and incident response (DFIR).
- I must possess technical experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and have industry experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), CTI, or a cyber security-related role.
- It is highly valued if I hold CTI/cyber relevant certifications and have ample knowledge in threat tracking.
- I will be assessed on key critical skills relevant to success in this role, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology skills, as well as job-specific technical skills.
Responsibilities
- In my role, I will monitor the performance of operational controls, implement and manage security protocols, and incorporate lessons learned to protect the bank from potential cyber-attacks and respond to threats.
- I will manage security monitoring systems, including intrusion prevention and detection systems, to alert, detect, and block potential cyber security incidents, ensuring a prompt response to restore normal operations with minimal system damage.
- Identification of emerging cyber security threats, attack techniques, and technologies will be part of my responsibilities, along with collaboration with networks and conferences to enhance industry knowledge and expertise.
- I will manage and analyze security information and event management systems to collect, correlate, and analyze security logs, events, and alerts regarding potential threats.
- My duties will also include triaging data loss prevention alerts to identify and prevent sensitive data from being exfiltrated from the bank's network, as well as managing cyber security incidents, including remediation and driving incidents to closure.
