Must:
To succeed in this role, you should have experience with leading complex deliveries using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and DevOps, specifically using Bicep and ARM templates. Proficiency in Azure Networking, including firewalls and DNS, and core Azure services such as Compute, Data, Integration, and Generative AI is essential. You should also be familiar with scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Highly valued skills include Azure Policy, Jenkins/GitLab, and Azure Certifications (AZ-104: Azure Administrator, AZ-701: Network Administrator, AZ-500: Security Engineer). We may assess critical skills relevant to this role, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology expertise alongside job-specific technical skills.
Responsibilities
In this position, your primary duties will be to design, develop, and improve software while utilizing various engineering methodologies. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring that the code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies, ensuring seamless integration with business objectives. By participating in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing, you will foster collaboration among peers. It will be important for you to stay informed of industry technology trends, contribute to the organization’s technology communities, and adhere to secure coding practices to protect sensitive data. You will also implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

This role is vital for designing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and following DevOps best practices to automate deployments. As a Vice President, you will contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change. If managing a team, you will define jobs and responsibilities and provide guidance to team members. You are expected to demonstrate leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive. As an individual contributor, you will act as a subject matter expert guiding technical direction and leading collaborative, multi-year assignments. You will be advising key stakeholders, managing risks, and collaborating with other areas to support business strategies.
