Must:
As a candidate for the Master Data Management Support Specialist position, you will need to meet the following essential criteria: - Data Engineering experience and knowledge related to troubleshooting data-related issues. - Proficiency in using TomCat, MS SQL databases, Oracle SQL, SSIS, and Data Virtualization applications. - Experience in Master Data Management, specifically providing Master Data Management support. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to quickly comprehend and provide feedback on best practice solutions. Desirable skills include: - Understanding of the MDM product range, particularly the Semarchy application. - Familiarity with the Data Virtualization product range, especially the TIBCO Data Virtualization (TDV) application. - Experience within an ITIL-based service environment.

Responsibilities

In the role of Master Data Management Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: - Acting as the technical lead and providing support expertise across the Master Data Management product range to all consumers. - Managing and administering the Semarchy application, while offering technical leadership and aligning with industry best practices. - Managing and holding suppliers accountable to achieve agreed service levels and quality standards. - Demonstrating advanced problem-solving capabilities, collaborating with developers on problem and incident management related to MDM issues. - Monitoring and maintaining Master Data Management service activities, including general administration and application maintenance. - Leading on upgrades for Master Data Management products in accordance with requirements. - Supporting architects and development teams with future Master Data Management deliverables to ensure seamless product transition into service. - Documenting critical skills related to Master Data Management usage for other department staff and enhancing the developers' skill set. - Representing and owning actions from internal department projects and procedures to promote and improve Master Data Management processes.
