Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to hold a degree in a STEM subject, or have an HND/HNC with relevant experience in the Engineering Lifecycle, or equivalent industry experience.
- It is essential to possess an understanding of Electronic Warfare and sensors.
- A strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles, including the Engineering Lifecycle is critical.
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering and use of the Cameo toolset is desirable.
- Operational experience of performing post-mission data analysis is a plus.
Responsibilities
- You will lead the development of the Post Flight Analysis aspects of a future integrated software capability, focusing on the generation, validation, and analysis of mission data.
- I expect you to lead technical discussions and gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders, including inter-business teams, MoD, and industrial partners.
- It will be your responsibility to ensure that the proposed design is accurately captured within the requirements management tools and modelling environment.
- You will develop and deliver formal requirement specifications and other systems engineering artifacts according to program timelines.
- Maintaining close engagement with the Radar Supplier to ensure alignment between the Post Flight Analysis capability and Radar design is crucial.
- Additionally, you will support the development of the early careers pipeline within the department.

At BAE Systems, the Mission Enablement Electronic Warfare team designs, develops, and integrates a suite of electronic warfare products for the Eurofighter partner nations, including KSA and Qatar. These products allow air forces to develop, test, and validate Typhoon mission data before loading it onto aircraft. Our EW Future Capability team is responsible for creating a state-of-the-art integrated software solution that will replace existing individual software applications.
