Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in data protection, GDPR, and information governance.
- Track record of designing and embedding policies and frameworks in complex environments.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong background in DPIAs, DSARs, breach handling, and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior escalation point for the central data protection function.
- Filter and manage data protection queries through an established policy matrix.
- Provide commercially-aligned GDPR advice to Legal, Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, and Operations.
- Drive GDPR compliance and maintain enterprise-level governance frameworks.
- Lead complex DPIAs across BAU and project work.
- Manage intricate DSARs, identifying hotspots and emerging risks.
- Support the management of data breaches, advising on appropriate actions and mitigation.

This is a hybrid-remote contract position open to candidates based anywhere in the UK with low on-site working.
