Requirements
Must:
We seek candidates with proven experience in analyzing and presenting data to varied audiences. You must have knowledge and experience in using Power BI and DAX for data visualization, along with advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and data modeling. A strong understanding of data standards and statistical/research methods is essential. You should possess strong communication skills and an attention to detail, along with a logical mindset that allows you to translate data into actionable insights. A degree or postgraduate qualification in research methods or statistics, or equivalent experience, is required.
Responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Analyst / BI Officer, your duties will include championing the effective use of data across our organization and the wider sports sector. You will synthesize and interpret data from multiple sources to inform decision-making. You will design and maintain data visualizations and reports using Power BI and other tools while delivering training and resources to support staff and partners in using data for planning and evaluation. You will develop and maintain data standards and protocols across programs, contribute to the design and delivery of our research plan and business intelligence strategy, communicate complex findings in clear and engaging ways to non-technical audiences, and work with data administrators to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data reporting.
Description
We are excited to offer this opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst / BI Officer to leverage data visualization and analytics, driving insight, informing strategy, and supporting continuous improvement across our organization and the wider sports sector. This hybrid role allows you to work part-time from our office in Glasgow, Scotland (G40) and part-time from home. The position is full-time on an 18-month fixed-term contract with a salary of £35,991 pro rata.
