Must:
We are looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer who has a strong understanding of containerization (Docker and AWS ECS or similar), Linux and Windows environments with a focus on scripting and automation. You should be familiar with automation tools that facilitate deployments through CodeBuild and CodePipeline. In addition, experience with AWS-based capacity and performance logging and monitoring solutions is essential. We expect you to have experience in architecting and building solutions that support highly available and scalable websites, mobile apps, and public APIs.
Responsibilities
As the successful candidate, you will work within our direct-to-consumer development team to deliver continuous improvement for our award-winning client-facing applications. Your role will involve guiding and mentoring the team to design and deliver high-quality products while considering architectural and non-functional requirements to deliver scalable solutions. You will contribute to the design, management, and maintenance of our AWS-hosted infrastructure, covering our dev, UAT, and production environments. Your responsibilities will also include providing a resilient, scalable, and secure platform, as well as engaging in problem management and root cause analysis. Furthermore, you will actively monitor monthly cloud spending and appreciate cost management.
