Requirements
Must:
- UK-based applicants only.
- Proximity to Cardiff office to attend in-person meetings a couple of times a month.
- A couple of years of commercial experience with C# .Net and React.js, along with exposure to Azure.
- Good use of React.js or other modern JavaScript libraries.
- Ideally, some experience with event-based service-oriented architectures.
- Any experience with Python and Azure DevOps would be a bonus.
Responsibilities
- As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will work across the product lifecycle, from idea to deployment, contributing to both greenfield projects and evolving our core platform.
- You will help design, build, and maintain full-stack applications that assist in detecting and countering online harms.
- You will create intuitive and accessible user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
- You will develop efficient, secure, and reliable backend systems that interface with APIs and databases.
- You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and shape product direction.
- You will document your work, contribute to best practices, and support a progressive engineering culture.
- You will participate in a structured development process that includes collaborative in-person workshops every six weeks.
Description

You should be keen to explore unfamiliar technology when necessary, value collaborative development over just coding, and communicate clearly while working well in a team. Initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve your skills and processes are essential. In return for your skills, we offer a salary of up to £35K DOE, 28 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and BUPA medical coverage. You'll be part of a mission-driven start-up within an innovative environment, guided by experienced leadership. Our collaborative culture exists in a small but established technical team, with the flexibility of mostly working from home and visiting Cardiff a couple of times a month.
