Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript
- Commercial experience with Java and/or Objective-C
- Proficiency in version control and other core software engineering skills
- Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous, but is not a prerequisite:
- Python or similar scripting language

- React or similar web application framework

- Act as the 'code owner' for JavaScript and Roku SDKs
- Analyze and define new requirements
- Maintain and improve CI/CD processes
- Ensure feature parity and API alignment between different platforms
- Implement SDK improvements where possible
- Help define software development practices, policies, and tooling
Description
We are an established technology company located in Staines, looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the office. The focus of this position will be on developing and maintaining SDKs for four key products spanning JavaScript (TypeScript), Roku (BrightScript), Android (Java), and iOS (Objective-C).
