We seek a candidate who is eager to develop their skills and grow with us over time. While we understand it may be unrealistic to find someone who fits every requirement, here’s what we’re looking for:
- Relevant networking, infrastructure, and Microsoft qualifications (CCNA, JNCP, MCSA, VCP).
- Experience managing Microsoft Azure & Office 365, including Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect, Exchange Online/Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune/Endpoint Management.
- Familiarity with public and private cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Proficiency in maintaining and updating VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments, including replication and failover.
- Knowledge of VOIP systems such as FreePBX, Mitel, Gamma, Skype/Teams.
- Experience with security measures such as MDM, MFA, email filtering, and next-generation firewalls.
- Skills in Windows Server installation and configuration.
- Capability in maintaining SAN devices, configuring iSCSI connectivity, and managing clusters.
- Experience supporting Remote Desktop Services, RemoteApp, and Citrix environments.
- Networking troubleshooting expertise at a 3rd line level, supporting firewalls from Palo Alto, Sophos, FortiNet, Draytek, Juniper, and Cisco.
- Endpoint support experience with Windows desktop, application, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Strong soft skills, including effective communication, a methodical approach to diagnosis and documentation, and the ability to prioritize and organize tasks.
- A full clean UK driving license.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering impactful solutions for our clients within a supportive and knowledgeable team. Your work will involve:
- Project Delivery (80%):
- Implementing projects that meet scope, budget, and time targets.
- Producing clear and professional documentation to aid both clients and internal teams.
- Managing seamless handovers to Service Delivery to ensure effective transitions.
- Applying new technologies that provide real value to client environments.
- Project Planning (20%):
- Scoping and planning successful projects.
You should be comfortable with flexibility, as some evening and weekend work may be required when project needs arise. We will try to plan these sessions in advance.
