Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in product management, project management, business analysis, or a related delivery-focused role.
- Demonstrated ability to own and deliver cross-functional projects on time, identifying and escalating risks proactively.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting data and turning insights into action.
- Comfortable using digital tools such as Jira, dashboards, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of UX/UI best practices.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a desire to improve product performance and customer experience.
- Experience with online services or subscription products (preferred).
- Interest in pets and pet care services/products (preferred).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Create and manage the project plan, timelines, risks, and deliverables, ensuring that projects launch on time and to the required quality.
- Act as the central point of sign-off for all related communications, including product descriptions, email templates, phone scripts, website content, and FAQs.
- Coordinate stakeholders, ensuring all teams understand their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Support the creation and execution of product marketing activities, including launch campaigns, proposition messaging, value-led communications, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Own and coordinate the Literature Review process for existing products, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all communication channels.
- Champion product clarity across the organisation, ensuring messaging accurately reflects proposition value and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the product expert at trade marketing events (approx. 3–4 per year), supporting the Trade & Partnerships Manager on stand.
- Manage product launches and updates, ensuring smooth go-to-market delivery and cross-team alignment.
- Drive incremental improvements across the existing product portfolio in collaboration with development, design, and marketing teams.
- Translate business requirements into clear product specifications, acceptance criteria, and user stories for the development team.
- Support the Senior Propositions Manager on NPD, owning specific initiatives and setting the product vision within larger workstreams.
- Participate in user acceptance testing, ensuring product changes meet quality standards.
- Produce monthly dashboards and KPI reports, analysing product performance and communicating key insights to senior leadership.
