Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT support environment.
- Experience with support of Windows Desktop OS.
- Good working knowledge of PC, laptop, and printer hardware.
- Good working knowledge of the full MS Office suite.
- Basic knowledge of IT networking and cabling.
- Excellent telephone manner with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills with a logical train of thought.
Any experience with the following would be a bonus:
- Previous experience in an MSP environment.
- Support for VoIP systems.
- Office 365 administration.
- Support for Mac OSX.
- Basic server administration (e.g., AD user account creation, password resets).
Additionally, you must have a driving license, access to a vehicle, and be willing to travel as necessary when visiting clients.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with:
- Answering calls and responding to tickets from customers.
- Providing remote support to resolve problems that customers face regarding any aspect of their IT.
- Triaging incoming calls and tickets, while liaising with the wider IT team to manage escalations.
- Providing on-site technical support at clients’ premises when necessary.
- Adhering to defined KPIs and meeting the expected SLAs.
- Consistently contributing to and updating documentation.
- On-boarding and off-boarding users.
- Monitoring backups daily and reporting on any issues that arise.
