Requirements
Must:
We require a proven experience as an Azure Developer or DevOps Engineer. Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript are essential. You should have hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and Storage Accounts. Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Git, and YAML pipeline configuration is expected, along with experience with Infrastructure as Code including ARM, Bicep, or Terraform. A solid understanding of containerization and Kubernetes (AKS) is a must, as well as familiarity with CI/CD principles, monitoring, and logging tools such as Application Insights and Azure Monitor. Additionally, a basic knowledge of cloud security principles and Azure Active Directory is necessary.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Azure services. You will build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, preferably with YAML pipelines. Your responsibilities will also include implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and working closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and high availability. You will be tasked with optimizing application performance, scalability, and cost efficiency within Azure, as well as automating testing, deployment, and monitoring processes. Furthermore, you will manage containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service while maintaining a strong focus on security, compliance, and best practices for Azure environments.
Description
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Developer with Active SC Clearance to join our team in Gloucester, working on a 1-2 days per week on-site basis. This position offers a contract rate of £475 - £525 per day, and it is outside of IR35. The start date is ASAP, and the initial contract period is for three months.
